In one important respect, Murray will have the edge: He’ll be playing in his home nation. The crowds this past week have been more international than the typical Wimbledon audience, but the Britons in attendance also have been more rowdy and passionate than the Wimbledon norm. He won them both with his partner 18-year-old Laura Robson, meaning he’ll play for two golds on Centre Court on Sunday and will play five matches total over three days.Murray won’t ever match Federer’s 17 major titles he might not even win one. But if Murray wins both his matches Sunday he’ll probably finish his career with one more gold than Federer has.
